We can no longer deny the pace and pressure of the world around us are speeding up and that the frenetic energy is having a negative impact on every aspect of our lives and well-being.

As former Google Executive, Eric Teller explains it…

If we look at the rate the world is changing, we’re in a time in human history where the rate at which the world is changing has surpassed our capacity as humans to adapt to change.

This is a startling statement that might evoke more angst, but there’s truth in this reality that we’re all in this together and that we could all benefit from becoming more confident in our capacity to lead ourselves and others.

The interesting part of Eric Teller’s assessment is that it confirms what ancient yogis have been predicting for centuries. Yogic masters knew humans would need meditation and yoga to align, strengthen, and increase their mental capacity to live successfully in a future where technology reigns.

Now, more than ever we need to access our mind-body system- our energic life force- in order to keep up with the amount of data and work that comes at us each day.

For most people, change is difficult, but for women who suffer from the highest rates of burnout, the thought of learning new ways to build self-reliance can add to their already depleted state.

However, when we view change as intentional, the heart becomes involved and the aspiration takes on new meaning and creates new energy. Think of it as having the opportunity to choose to cruise on a two-lane highway versus a freeway- you’re still getting to your destination, just taking a more enjoyable and calm route.

The two-lane highway in this example is a conscious choice not to rush the transformational process. It’s a discerning moment to feel who you want to become and what being self-reliant will mean to you throughout your life’s journey.

Making the choice to increase your self-reliance, resilience, and well-being is the best investment you’ll ever make. It’s a positive compound effect strategy, where you’ll reap significant short and long-term gains from small, seemingly insignificant actions.

“Your capacity to connect to your heart’s intuitive intelligence, activate compassion, and sustain coherence are factors to feel self-reliant in a world that’s changing at warp speed.”

If you’re not yet a believer that your well-being can have a positive impact effect on others and the planet, I encourage you to check out the science behind it. HeartMath® is the world’s leading authority on heart coherence and energy and stress management.

Their training, techniques and technology are widely used in the military, hospitals, education, organizations- advancing individual and collective resilience, and well-being. Additional science validates how humans and the planet share energetic frequencies that promote regenerative or depleting exchanges.

Did you know…

everyone and everything is affected by the energy coming onto the planet as well as what’s circulating in and around us.

As a Certified HeartMath® Coach | trainer, I feel fortunate to share and facilitate change at scale. Knowing how to regulate and manage our own energy to positively influence the field we share with others is a personal and professional skill we all need to hone and leverage.

1. Connect to your heart’s intuitive intelligence through heart-focused breathing. Let this focus anchor and guide you to what is aligned with your highest potential and the outcomes you desire. Learn to trust and lead from an active, calm place in your heart, instead of your racing mind that is set on default to keep you from becoming awakened, compassionate, strong, and well.

2. Activate compassion for yourself and others multiple times of the day.  Remind yourself that you are doing the very best you can and everyone around you is doing their very best. We are all experiencing similar emotions, thoughts, and feelings that are part of the human experience so extend ‘compassionate latitude’ to others and when appropriate ask them to do the same for you.

3. Sustain coherence by practicing heart-focused breathing multiple times a day.  Remember your mind follows your breath and your body follows your mind so when you’re able to slow the breath down, focus on your connection to your heart, it will slow the mind so you can access more intuitive wisdom. The added bonus- you’ll be releasing vitality hormones instead of stress hormones.

You now have a new paradigm to create and experience life. By taking a heart (higher self) perspective you’ll access greater intuition which leads to higher possibility outcomes. Mastering self-reliance is an effective way to ignite and sustain positive change.

And connecting to your heart’s intuitive intelligence is the fastest way to co-regulate with others. You can actually help others lessen their stress through your intention and your coherent heart rhythm.

When you become aware of negative energy from other people, shift to your heart-focused breathing to navigate the situation with greater poise and discernment. The goal is to be in a position of power and well-being through self-awareness and self-regulation.

When you consciously choose to put your well-being first, your confidence in owning and enjoying your future increases.

And when you extend this to others on a daily basis, you feel empowered that you’re making a difference for yourself and the world.

Taking control of your healing, health, and your life, can be daunting if you don’t have someone guiding you, but there are simple ways to cultivate self-reliance and empowerment, your own personal device that will give you instant feedback from your own heart. I use this Inner Balance™ device daily and recommend it to all my clients.

By now you know that unlocking the power of your heart will support you in feeling confident in a warp-speed world.

However, if you’re a leader, looking to scale resilience through training and/or devices, so everyone in your organization can share a coherent field of energy, please follow your intuition. It will empower your employees to adapt to change more easily and effectively, thus improving their sense of well-being, and performance.
